VPE Ultrasonic Leak Detector
The VPE Ultrasonic Leak Detector pinpoints leaks in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. It is extremely sensitive to the ultrasonic sound of a turbulent gas leak. Using a technology called "heterodyning" it translates the sound to a lower frequency which your ear can interpret. AccuTrak maintains the original sound characteristics making it possible to distinguish leaks from other competing background sounds.
VPE-1000 Digital Ultrasonic Detector
The Superior AccuTrak® VPE-1000 is the first low cost digital ultrasonic detector, offering extraordinary features at a fraction of the cost of other ultrasonic instruments. The AccuTrak® model VPE-1000 is extremely sensitive to the ultrasonic sound of leaks and friction in industrial systems. By using a technique called "heterodyning" it translates the ultrasound to a lower frequency which your ear can interpret.
VPX-WR Ultrasonic Leak Detector (w/ Dynamic Noise Discrimination)
The Superior AccuTrak® Model VPX-WR is an ultra-durable and waterproof instrument that incorporates the patented and trademarked circuitry called “DND” (Dynamic Noise Discrimination). Older detectors using only the heterodyne technique, simply cannot offer the same leak detection abilities, especially in loud plant environments.

VPE-GN (Gooseneck) Ultrasonic Leak Detector
The Patented Superior AccuTrak® VPE-GN “Gooseneck” provides better detection in hard-to-reach places, and is great for automotive applications too. AccuTrak® is extremely sensitive to the ultrasonic sound of a turbulent gas leak. The VPE-GN maintains the original sound characteristics making it possible to distinguish leaks from other competing background sounds.
VPE-2000 Digital Ultrasonic Detector
The Superior AccuTrak® VPE-2000 is the first digitally controlled ultrasonic detector. It uses two independent sensors supported by separate electronic circuits configured specifically to their own sensor. This assures optimum sound clarity and frequency response. When switching between the airborne and contact sensors all settings are retained in memory. Digital LED meters let you establish baselines, perform trending, and accurately repeat these tests better than older more expensive analog instruments.
